Y!Q Service Terms and Conditions
The Y!Q service is a search feature offered by Yahoo that increases the
relevance of search results delivered to users by the interpreting the
context the user is currently viewing. only use the Y!Q icons,
code and text ("Y!Q Tag") found on the Y!Q Tag installation instruction
page. By using the Y!Q Tag, you agree to the Yahoo! Terms of Service
located at
http://docs.yahoo.com/info/terms/
and the additional provisions below.
- Your right to display the Y!Q Tag is limited to your Web site,
for use only in relation to the Y!Q service, and only as permitted on
the Y!Q Tag installation instruction page.
- The Y!Q Tag is proprietary to Yahoo! and is protected by U.S. and
international intellectual property laws. You may not remove, distort
or alter any element of the Y!Q Tag (including the html code) or
otherwise change the size or appearance of the Y!Q Tag in any way.
- You may not display the Y!Q Tag in any manner that implies a
relationship or affiliation with, sponsorship, or endorsement by
Yahoo!, or that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest editorial
content has been authored by, or represents the views or opinions of
Yahoo! or Yahoo! personnel. The Y!Q Tag should not be the most
prominent element on your web page.
- The Y!Q Tag must appear by itself, with a minimum spacing of 25
pixels between each side of the Logo and other graphic or textual
elements on your web page.
- You may not display the Y!Q Tag in a manner that is misleading,
defamatory, infringing, libelous, disparaging, obscene or otherwise
objectionable to Yahoo!, or impairing of the rights of Yahoo! in its
trademarks or logos, in Yahoo!'s sole opinion. You may not use the Y!Q
Tag on a site that violates any law or regulation
- You may not frame or mirror any Yahoo! page (including the page
that
appears in response to a click on the Y!Q Tag) on your web page.
- You will not cache listings, give users any incentive to click on
the listings, or engage in, permit or authorize any manual or automated
means of maximizing clicks on the listings. You are receiving no
license to any of the content appearing on the Yahoo! results pages,
including but not limited to any license to copy, display or otherwise
use any of the content on that page.

YAHOO! DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
BY LAW REGARDING THE Y!Q TAG, INCLUDING WARRANTIES AGAINST
INFRINGEMENT.
- You agree to indemnify and hold Yahoo!, and its subsidiaries,
affiliates, officers, agents, co-branders or other partners, and
employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable
attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the
Y!Q Tag in any manner which violates these Terms and Conditions or your
violation of any rights of another.
- You acknowledge and agree that Yahoo! does not endorse and is not
responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for (a) any content,
advertising, products, or other materials on or available from your
website, (b) the content of any search result, including advertiser
listings, or (c) any content or functionality available on any website
linked to from any search result, including advertiser and web search
listings.
These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between
you and Yahoo! shall be governed by the laws of the State of California
without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You and Yahoo! agree
to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts
located within the county of Santa Clara, California.
